World Wildlife Day
Film Showcase
“Inspiring personal responsibility and stewardship for endangered creatures through a film festival showcase across the world.”
2025 THEME:
Wildlife Conservation Finance: Investing in People and Planet
In 2015, we hosted the International Elephant Film Festival, which reached over 8,000 people in 70+ countries. Building on this success, we have since highlighted topics such as big cats, living oceans, biodiversity, forests, and digital innovation through our World Wildlife Day Film Showcases, bringing attention to critical conservation issues worldwide. World Wildlife Day 2025 will serve as a platform for exchanging ideas, showcasing solutions and advancing the conversation on how innovative finance can contribute to halting biodiversity loss, raising the interest of private sector stakeholders to invest in wildlife conservation, and creating a sustainable future.
Films selected for the World Wildlife Day Film Showcase are available throughout 2025 in free educational screenings. Selected films were announced on March 3rd at the World Wildlife Day Celebration.
